Isometric, Oblique and Orthographic Drawing

Isometric means:

  • coordinate axes appear equally foreshortened and the angles between any two of them are 120 degrees.
  • Used in technical and engineering drawings.


Oblique can mean:
  • perpendicular
  • not straightforward
  • indirect
  • obscure

Orthographic Drawing is:

  • Form of Parallel Projection
  • Orthogonal to projection plane.
